Miss Myra’s Pit Bar-B-Q: White Sauce

While Miss Myra is known for her desserts, Alabama in general is known for it’s White Sauce which goes great on chicken. This is an easy to follow recipe that will be great to add to your list of options at your next backyard barbecue.

Ingredients:

1) 2 qt. Mayonnaise

2) 1 qt. White Vinegar

3) 2 Tbsp. Salt

4) 2 Tbsp. Pepper

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, add Mayonnaise #1 (KC: Dukes is the best) and stir in the Vinegar #2 and whisk until smooth.

  2. Mix in the Salt #3 and Pepper #4.

  3. Cool in the refrigerator so that the sauce will get thick.
